Ubuntu Oneiric 11.10 Beta 2 got me frustrated enough so that I happened to delete the site when I cleared my SSD disk for a Daily Build instead. Not that the site resided on the SSD, but there was a symlink to it and the delete command in Midnight Commander follows symlinks, so – goodnight ….
Of course I have plenty of backups, but none recent enough to be considered representative so I start new instead. On the flip side so does the daily build from 30/9-2011 of Ubuntu 11.10 work a lot better than the Beta 2 of the same thing did, so things are closing in for the final release and I guess I should be happy.
A fresh start is always … eh! … refreshing …
